I am very excited to be staying at motel 6. The service is great. All the housekeepers give good service. It's a nice hotel with everything you need. It's a home away from home. The manager and staff are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend that you check out motel 6 . Nice and clean.

The new owners sure brought new life to this motel! Our family used to stay here on the way to Louisiana and I can honestly say it wasn't the best experience before the new people took over. Hotel looks great with the renovations, clean pool, and the parking lots are well-lit. Very affordable option for those who are looking to save money on a long drive through Houston.

The only reason I don’t give this place one star is the fact that the bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked very well. That was the only 2 highlights for the expensive “budget” hotel. As you see in the pictures, the refrigerator was filthy and the tub don’t drain. So $211 for 2 rooms is pretty pricey for what you get.

Very basic place. It appears to be in the process of improvement, and isn't really run down, but there are no frills. It's a good 17 or 18 miles out of Downtown Houston and is in a busy transportation corridor, not scenic or picturesque. There's a street in walking distance where there are a few casual, but nice, restaurants, so that was cool. They were changing their cable service while I was there, and for the 3 nights I was there, I was unable to access CNN, which I usually watch every day. When I checked in there was no shampoo in the room, so I needed to request some. Then, for two days running, housekeeping staff would take the used soap bars from the room, leaving no new soap, again requiring me to get these items from the front desk. The hotel advertises a free breakfast, but to be charitable, it is a very, very scant selection. If anything ameliorated the downsides, it is that the main desk clerk was exceptionally courteous, gracious and helpful, apologizing for the inconveniences and offering to make things right. He had outstanding customer service skills. Very much a budget experience.

My niece and her 5 year old daughter were visiting us from out of town and I wanted to treat them to a nearby motel, as we have no room in our house for guests. We are retired and on a very, very tight budget, so I booked them into this Inn. For $55 a night, they had a very clean bedroom/sitting room with a huge bed, fridge, microwave, coffeepot & coffee, Wifi and nice desk where my niece could do some work. The AC worked great, a must in Texas in Houston! The pool was small (which my niece preferred for safety reasons and sparkling clean! It was quiet at night, so they got a good sleep. The continental breakfast was minimal, but okay. The staff was so nice, friendly, and good-humored. They made us feel very welcome. Mr. Patel runs a very nice place and I recommend it!
